How we read the analyses
No black box: here is exactly where the numbers come from and how they become a grade.
From raw data to information you can actually use

We fetch the official analyses
For tap water, the Hub'Eau platform run by the French Ministry of Health. For bathing water, the European Environment Agency database, fed by all 27 member states. The same data the authorities use.

We compare them to the legal limits
Nitrates, pesticides, PFAS, lead, bacteriology: every parameter is measured against its regulatory limit. Nothing invented, nothing weighted to suit us.

We turn it into a score and plain words
A grade, a colour, an explanation. You decide with full knowledge, without having to interpret a laboratory table.

A note on how fresh the data is
The European bathing classification is annual: it summarises a whole season, computed over four years of sampling. French tap water analyses are published with a delay of a few weeks to a few months. We always display the sampling date, so you always know how old what you are reading is.
